Individual Therapy Services

We provide individual therapy services to individuals aged 12 and older for a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, OCD, unresolved trauma, relationship difficulties, anger issues, school problems, emotion management concerns, workplace stress/injury, and legal issues, among others. 

We also currently work with BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) and with their pre-approval, we can direct bill for therapy sessions provided to paramedics and other members of BCEHS. Please reach out to see if you qualify for coverage.

We provide trauma-informed therapy services and trauma processing utilizing an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and/or a Trauma Focused-CBT approach. We can also help you to develop healthy and effective coping skills, including trauma containment strategies, to manage trauma related triggers.

If you have taken a leave from work due to workplace stress and/or a psychological injury, we can provide therapy sessions focused on improving your mental health and day-to-day functioning, with the goal of returning to work in the future. We often provide these services to Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) clients and for other insurance providers (e.g., Great West Life, Sunlife). This may include the completion of insurance forms, if/when required.

If you have been in a car accident and have a claim with ICBC, you may be eligible for coverage for psychological treatment. Twelve (12) psychology sessions are pre-authorized for ICBC customers within the first 12 weeks from the date of their crash. These sessions are direct billed to ICBC. If it has been more than 12 weeks, your claims adjuster may still approve funding for psychology sessions if you are struggling with mental health symptoms.
